My family came out to visit! I was counting down for so long to see them, and I wanted to share our adventures.
This is how the morning began... Donuts in a comfy hotel bed..
We took the architecture tour on a boat through the Chicago River and got to learn all about the buildings!
I want to live in these cool spots right on the river

The fall leaves here are so beautiful
Caitlin and I :)
I haven't been able to see the city like this. We got lucky too with weather because earlier in the week it was so foggy that the buildings weren't visible!
The housekeeper tucked in my giraffe and gave me candy. We all thought it was super cute that they thought I was a child.
Dad being an airplane
Sis, mama, and I. We were going to go to the aquarium but the line outside was too long, so we walked along the water instead
All of us together :)
Fall, you're doing it right
I took them to the roof of my school! You get to see majority of Millennium Park
On the Nichols Bridgeway
I have been waiting to get pizza since I moved here. I was so excited to be full
Deep dish deep dish!
Leftovers the next day right outside my dorm :)
We went shopping.. Macy's is 9 floors tall so lots of escalators!
And then we found Dad when we were done
Seeing the sun is becoming a bit weird here, it's been very cloudy.
This is a real thing
Cupcakes after a yummy dinner in River North
I'm so glad I got to show them around and show them how fast I walk. ;) 2 months was a long time without seeing my family, and now I've got 2 more months until I'm home for the holidays!
